Bio-Technology, Bio-chemistry abd Microbiology will be the most promising area of research in the next 50 year and will revolutionize the practice of medicine, agriculture and many other fields. It has become one of the ‘dream’ disciplines of an increasingly large number of students. This has prompted our institution to initiate a Programme in Bio- Technology, Bio-Chemistry, and Microbiology. Successful candidate of B.Sc., Bio-Technology, Bio-Chemistry and Microbiology have career prospects in Agriculture, Pharmaceuticals, Research Institutes, Distilleries as Quality controller, Technical Assistants and Research Assistants. They can opt for PG course like M.Sc., Genomics, Bio- informatics, Environmental Biotechnology, Gene Technology, and also Industrial Biotechnology.

To cope up with computerized world, a part from the lectures, our students are provided with training in fields like IBM main frame, networking, Web Designing, Embedded systems, Business Process Outsourcing etc.
Department of Computer Science has a well equipped air-conditioned state-of the – art technology laboratory with 100 computers with LAN facility, broadband internet facilities. Updated computer books and journals to equip the students further.
Placement support is provided to students as Database administrators, programmers, software engineers, customer support engineers and tele service engineers.
