National Service Scheme (NSS)
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a body of student volunteers under the leadership of a Teacher Leader. The motto of the Scheme is Education through Community Service. Two units of the Scheme, one exclusively for boys and another exclusively for girls, are functioning. Every Student Member of this Scheme should serve at least for two years in community service. At the end of two years of satisfactory service, every Student Member will be eligible to receive NSS Certificate considered equivalent to a Diploma in Social Service.
